Group habit challenges with friends

Pick a goal, invite the people you want, and check in each day. A live leaderboard shows who turned up.

Tadapop’s Check-in Club is private and invite-only. There are no strangers, nothing is staked, and losing a challenge costs nothing.

01 · WHO IT IS FOR

Who are group challenges for?

02 · HOW IT WORKS

How does a challenge work?

  1. Open the Check-in Club tab and press Create Challenge. This part of the app needs an account.
  2. Name it and write how to play in your own words. People you invite see this before they join.
  3. Choose how long it runs (7 days, 30 days or custom) and how often people check in (every day, or a set number of days a week).
  4. Choose the group size (up to 4, 8, 20 or 40 players), who can join and who can invite.
  5. Decide whether a check-in needs a photo or a video, and who can see it.
  6. Share the invite link or code. Once enough people have joined, the host starts the challenge.
  7. Each day, everyone checks in once. The leaderboard counts how many days each person hit the target.

What do people ask about group challenges?

What app lets friends do a habit challenge together with a leaderboard?

Tadapop’s Check-in Club does. A host creates a private challenge and invites friends. Everyone checks in once a day, and a live leaderboard counts how many days each person hit the target.

How does the leaderboard decide who is ahead?

By how many days you hit the daily target, and nothing else. Going over the target on a day banks nothing, so a big day cannot make up for a missed one.

Is there an app where whoever skips their workout buys dinner?

You can run that deal in Tadapop. Agree it among yourselves, for example four runs a week and whoever skips buys dinner, then set it up as a challenge so the leaderboard shows who turned up. The dinner stays between you and your friends and does not go through the app.

Does a challenge involve real money?

No. There is no real money and there are no prizes that convert to money, and nothing is staked. Losing a challenge costs nothing in the app.

Can strangers join my challenge?

No. Only people with your invite link or code can join, and the host can choose to approve each person first. There is no public discovery and no matchmaking.

Do my friends have to pay to join?

No. Joining someone’s challenge is never limited, on any plan. Each person does need an account.
