Whoever skips the workout buys dinner

Tadapop keeps the score and leaves the dinner to you. Your group agrees the deal, runs it as a private challenge, and the leaderboard shows who turned up.

The dinner is just a friendly deal between you. The app only keeps the score: nothing is staked in it, and losing costs nothing there.

01 · SET IT UP

How do you set up the dinner deal?

  1. Agree the deal with your friends first: for example, four workouts a week for 30 days, and whoever ends lowest on the board buys dinner. Decide what happens in a tie.
  2. Open the Check-in Club tab and press Create Challenge. This part of the app needs an account.
  3. Name it and write the deal into how to play. People you invite see it before they join.
  4. Set the length to 30 days and the check-ins to 4 days a week. Weeks run from the start date, not from Monday, and rest days in that plan are not misses.
  5. Turn on proof if you want it: a photo, a video or both, seen by all players or only the host. Clips must be under 2 minutes.
  6. Share the invite link or code. Once enough people have joined, the host starts the challenge, and the roster closes.
  7. On each workout day, everyone checks in. When the challenge ends, read the board and book the table.

What other challenges can friends run this way?

The same setup works for any daily goal you write in your own words. For example:

The dinner is optional. The leaderboard works the same without it. More on group challenges →

What do people ask about the dinner deal?

Is there an app where whoever skips their workout buys dinner?

You can run that deal in Tadapop. Agree it among yourselves, set it up as a challenge, and the leaderboard shows who turned up. The dinner stays between you and your friends and does not go through the app.

Can the app take the money or split the bill?

No. No challenge in the app involves real money, prizes or stakes, and there are no prizes that convert to money.

How do we know someone really worked out?

The host can require a photo or a video with each check-in. Beyond that, logging is self-reported and runs on an honor system, so choose people you trust.

Does one big workout make up for a missed day?

No. The board counts how many days you hit the target. Going over the target on a day banks nothing.

Does it have to be the gym?

No. You write the goal in your own words: 40 minutes of movement a day, a daily step count, a chapter of the Bible, a vegetable with every dinner, or lights out by 11 pm.

What does it cost to run one?

Hosting one challenge at a time is free, and joining someone’s challenge is never limited on any plan. Each person needs an account.
