What does the film cover?

  1. Pick one thing you really want to do, then find a few friends who won’t let you off easy.
  2. Only people you invite get in. Nobody outside sees a thing.
  3. Start your own and you’re the host: name it, set how it’s played and how often, and whether a check-in needs a photo or a video.
  4. Everyone sees the rules before they join. Miss a day and a little goes into the group pot — or pick a fun forfeit instead.
  5. Every day comes down to one question: did you check in today?
  6. A photo or a clip isn’t about catching cheaters — once you see everyone did it, it’s hard to stay on the couch.
  7. The leaderboard just sits there, so nobody has to chase anyone in the group chat.
  8. When it ends, the pot pays for the celebration — and you realize you actually stuck with it.

What do people ask about running a group challenge?

How do you run a group challenge with friends?

Open the Check-in Club and press Create Challenge. Name it, write how to play in your own words, then set how long it runs, how often people check in, and whether a check-in needs a photo or a video. Send the invite link or code. Once enough people have joined, the host starts it.

Who can see or join a challenge?

Only people with the invite link or code can join, and the host can choose to approve each person first. There is no public discovery, no matchmaking and no strangers.

Does a check-in need a photo or a video?

Only if the host switches proof on. The host also chooses whether all players or only the host can see it. Videos play for 7 days, and then only a still frame is kept.

Does the group pot or forfeit go through the app?

No. A pot or a forfeit is a deal between you and your friends, and you can write it into how to play. No challenge in the app involves real money, prizes or stakes, and losing a challenge costs nothing in the app.

Do you need an account, and is it free?

The Check-in Club needs an account. The free plan lets you host one challenge at a time, and joining a friend’s challenge is never limited. Tadapop Pro removes the limit on hosting.
